My dad is the coolest. I’m blessed to have been raised by this man. He is full of class, good taste in music, always bringing a smile to those around him. He has grown with me over the years and always made sure I had the tools and knowledge to achieve anything. Whenever I needed him he was there. He has been my strength. He has been my person longer than anyone. Thank you for the memories that will last until it is my own time and beyond. You’re a legend and you will be deeply missed.

Haley, I went to Fort Hunt high school with your dad, class of '72. We worked at Man's World (our local menswear store, he may have shared stories from that time) with a few others from our high school. We all shared some good memories there. I also reconnected with him on FB, and he was still the witty, fun and kind guy I remember.
And remember him I will, Haley.
My condolences to you and the rest of his family. Take good care.

Haley and family: I also was a classmate of Dana's from junior high on. We were close for many years. I worked with Dana, Toni, Mari and others at Man's World. Your Dad was a fine man, a good musician (I hope you have some of his talent) and had a terrific sense of humor. I know you all miss him terribly. I will too. God bless you.

I was a FHHS Majorette - we went to Chicago & Vienna, Austria with our band under the Direction of Frank B Wickes🤩 Your Dad was kind & funny- So many wonderful memories🥰 So sorry for you & your family - He will always be in your thoughts and forever in your hearts 😇♥️

Hayley, your dad and I were good friends in high schiool.
Unfortunately, and as is too often the case, we drifted apart after graduation and did not connect again until a few years ago. Dana spent much of our first call talking about you. Dana was still the warm, caring, and funny guy I remember but had grown into a relly insightful and caring adult. (We were typically sophomoric in our teens and some of the thing we did are almost ebarrassing to recount today.) You dad was not just a good man, he was a wonderful himan being. I can understand your loss and the pain that goes along with it. Please don't forget to be grateful for the time you spent with him. You two made each other much of what you are today and nothing can take that away. He was so proud of you and loved you deeply. I hope that you can take some consolation in the knowledge of what joy you brought into his life. He was a very special person and he must have passed a lot of tht on to you.
