Steven Jed "Steve" Wardle - Class Of 1973

"Steve Wardle, FHHS Class of '73, passed away peacefully on August 4th.  Steve and I were close at Fort Hunt and we attended Northern Virginia Community College, as well as Radford College together. He was my dormitory roommate at Radford in 1976 and a member of my wedding party in 1982.  Steve was a loyal friend and a fun and thoughtful guy.  He had a lot of charisma, even charm at times, and really knew how to liven up a conversation or a party.  He will be missed - and remembered - by all those that knew him.

Steve's brother, Don was FHHS Class of 1970, and he provided this obituary for Steve, his only brother:

- Joe Gililland, FHHS '73 "

Steve "grew up" at mine and Joe's house.  Steve was bigger than life and a loyal friend.  God bless.  He was very kind to my widowed mother.
