Peggy Ann Wells - Class Of 1975

                   DECEASED ALUM - PEGGY ANN WELLS BURLEY

Peggy Ann Burley (FHHS '75), a lifelong Alexandria resident who was a secretary with the Defense Acquisition University at Fort Belvoir, died Oct. 5 at Mount Vernon Hospital. She had leukemia.

Mrs. Burley, who lived in the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria, worked at Fort Belvoir for the past 17 years.

She was a 1975 graduate of Fort Hunt High School in Alexandria and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Alexandria.

She was a collector of Elvis Presley memorabilia, dolls and movies.

 Her marriage to Michael Burley ended in divorce.

Survivors include her parents, Shirley and Maynard Wells of Alexandria; and a brother, Thomas Wells of Tampa. 

Peggy died at age 45.
