Graduated from Radford College in 1970. Married Ron Smith in 1970. He served in the Army for 22 years as a Military Police officer. Lived in Germany, Virginia, Alabama, Kansas, and Washington (state). He retired and we moved to Oak Ridge, Tennessee where he went to work at the Oak Ridge National Lab in security. He worked there for 22 years and together we had a successful craft business. Elderly parents and grandchildren changed our priorities. We enjoy living close to the Smoky Mountains and we enjoy travel--especially Viking cruises.
School Story:

My little sister brought chicken pox home from kindergarten and gave it to me at the end of our senior year. I went to graduation that evening in the football stadium after the big thunderstorm broken out with chicken pox. I looked a fright but I didn't want to miss graduation. Hope I didn't give it to amy of our classmates.

Hi, Randy and Patsy. Was a back door neighbor of Patsy and Betsy Tierney on Anesbury Lane. Married in 1970 to Ron Smith who I met while at Radford--he went to VA Tech. "We" spent 22 years in the Army, had 2 girls, Amy and Jill and lived in Alabama, Virginia, Kansas and Washington State. Ron retired as Lt. Col from Army and we moved to Knoxville, TN where he worked at Oak Ridge National Lab. We love living here after 30+ years. Have 6 grandkids mostly grown. Don't get back to Alexandria much after my parents moved to Memphis and then Knoxville. Too much traffic! Sounds like you have been very successful with your restaurants and are living happily ever after. Just wanted to say hello.

Hi, Nancy. I don't get on this page often but your name jumped off the page as familiar. Are you the Nancy Shaw that has a twin sister Shirley? Sally Campbell Smith here. I am also married to a retired military officer (Army Lt. Col) We now live in Knoxville, TN. After he retired, we moved here for a job at the Oak Ridge Nuclear Facility and he became the Director of Security at the Oak Ridge National Lab. I see you are in New Mexico. We love living here close to the Smoky Mountains. I am in touch with Louise Nylon Dodd who lives in Roseland, VA and Paula Crowder Alford in Tampa, FL. They are the only ones in our class who I even know where they are. Would love to hear more from you.
