From Hillarie "Muff" Immel, details on the passing of a popular FHHS Teacher, Mr. Dingle, confirmed by his widow: "John P. Dingle, U.S. Government teacher from 1970 to 1974, passed away at the age of 55 from cancer. He resided in Amissville, Va with his wife, Nancy. John Patrick Dingle, June 21, 1946 to July 9, 2001. You will be missed."

Harriet Renee Campbell (1973)
I remember Mr. Dingle and Mr. Levy from my years at Ft. Hunt (1968-1973). They were both cutting edge teachers admired by their students. I am sorry to hear he left us so soon.

I miss him. He was truly an inspiration. He pushed his students to think, but was a gentle, funny and kind person. We drove to Colorado after I graduated in '72. A terrific experience.
