Jim Carmalt

One of my hobbies has been performing in Theatre for almost 45 years.
Now in the development stage for a new professional theater and culinary institute located on the Richmond Highway corridor.

I feel very fortunate to still live in Alexandria in my childhood home for 61 years.

Still in touch with many friends from years gone by and working diligently towards a good retirement so that I may be able to actually see some of my old friends on their turf. I've also been very fortunate to be on the ground floor of the inception of the Alumni association and try and make a positive difference each year with our annual celebration.

I still live in the same house on Fort Hunt Road that my family purchased in 1959. Love to sing and did a lot of on-stage musicals.
At 67 years, I'm still very active in various community activities.
