                                                       April 9, 1959 – July 8, 2022

David William Cerutti, of Alexandria, VA, died peacefully Friday, July 8, 2022 following a nearly two-year battle with cancer. He was born in Washington, D.C., April 9, 1959, to Priscilla Jane (Crowe) Cerutti and William Benjamin Cerutti both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his life partner Elizabeth "Libby" Shough; three brothers: Charles E. (wife Chrystianne), Brian S., and Andrew C. (wife Joyce); niece Ann Marie, and nephews Brian and Stuart.

He worked as a Machinist and Project Engineer in support of the U.S. Postal Service Engineering Department: training and mentoring colleagues. He previously worked for Raytheon and numerous other job shops in support of DoD and private projects.

He was a true master of his trade and was always willing to give his knowledge to anyone desiring to learn. A private memorial service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the INOVA Schar Cancer Institute.
