DAVIS, JOHN THOMAS (Age 44)
Died suddenly on October 18, 2003 in Woodstock, GA. Father of Christopher, Kendrew and Elizabeth; grandfather of Joshua Isaiah Davis; son of Claire and Don Davis of Culpeper, VA. Also survived by sisters, Lisa Davis Williams (John), Michele Davis Novak (David), Sharon Davis Akers; brothers, Stephen Paul Davis (Cathy), William Gavin Davis; nine nieces and nephews. John was well admired by his local community; he was active in community affairs and the Cherokee County YMCA soccer league as a coach of four teams. A graduate of Fort Hunt High School and Radford University, he was a senior analyst at Equifax Corporation in Atlanta, GA. John will be waked at CLORE ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME, in Culpeper, VA from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 26. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper, VA at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 27. Interment to follow at Fair View Cemetery in Culpeper, VA.

I guess fate has brought me here after all these years. John was a good friend and one of the guys I ran with on Creek drive back then. Lots of good memories, crazy things we got into. I knew his family well. Was also at Radford U for a few years with him. He was one of my my best friends. It still pains me that he is gone.
