Carl William Letsen, Jr. - Class Of 1969

Carl William Letsen, Jr., 61, of Castleton, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29, 2013 at his home. A funeral service was held at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, Virginia on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 3 p.m. and was conducted by Pastor Jon Heddleston. Carl was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was a man of faith, with a deep devotion to his Heavenly Father. He never stopped fighting cancer and even prayed for healing for others affected by cancer. His life touched and blessed countless people in the local community as well as surrounding counties. He lived a life of integrity and honor. Most of all he was a man after God's heart.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Letsen; and his children, Sara Kleppinger and her husband Matthew; Erin Wright and her husband Kevin; Jessica Langley and her husband Greg; Michael J. Letsen and his wife Vivian; Rebekah Fleming and her husband Michael; David Letsen and his wife Julie; and John Letsen and his wife Elizabeth. His grandchildren are Jonathan Letsen, Hannah Kleppinger, Joshua Kleppinger, Havilah Kleppinger, Isabella Kleppinger, Levi Kleppinger, Noah Wright, Kayla Wright, Taylor Langley, Austin Langley, Zachary Langley, Emily Langley, Abigail Letsen, and Colton Fleming.

He is also survived by his mother, Elisabeth Letsen, his brother Roy Letsen, his sister Elizabeth Fulmer, his sister Nancy Havle, his sister Judy Fischer and his brother, John Letsen.Carl was preceded in death by his father Carl William Letsen, Sr., father-in-law James H. Terrell, mother-in-law Lilla B. Terrell, his sister Susan Letsen, and his grandson Tristan Kleppinger. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701. Hospice of Rapidan was a blessing during an extremely difficult time for the Letsen family.
