It is with sadness that I write about the passing of my brother, Steve Sotera, a 1967 Fort Hunt Grad. A retired DC Police Officer, Steve worked at Mount Vernon Estate as a Security Officer before retiring completely a few years ago. Steve passed away October 19th after a short, but valiant, battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held for Steve on Thursday, December 6th at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Alexandria.
