She was a great friend and a beautiful Lady that always made me feel wanted. I truly wish that I had stayed in touch per her request , but life for me got complicated once entering the USAFSS. i KNOW in my heart that she's one of GOD's angel's.

Hope to see you again someday, AML, Steve

Jinna, my sister, worked for years as a special teacher for learning-disabled children. She was warm, generous and sensitive, with a riotous sense of humor. She was much more daring than I -- or our brother Ed -- ever could be. She died at age 45, overcome by many cares and health difficulties. Her grave is on a sunny wooded hillside in West Virginia, beside that of our grandmother Florence Olivet Fisher, the most saintly person I have ever known. Jinna is gone, but far, far from forgotten.

The thing that I remember so well about Jinny is her smile....like a sunny day. I was so saddened to hear about her passing, way too young. I know that her family must have fond memories of her because she was/is a good soul.

This girl was guilty of random acts of kindness!!!   Jinna and I dated  our senior year during football season.  Every Thursday afternoon, after everyone else had left the building, Jinna would gain access to my locker via the principal's office and decorate it inside and out with words of encouragement for the upcoming Friday night game.  Many of the items were beautifully hand crafted, and some were store bought trinkets.  She obviously put a lot of time and thought into each week's decorations as the words and trinkets were all personalized for the upcoming opponent.  All of this was unexpected, unsolicited, and totally blew me away.  To this day, I don't think I have ever been the recipient of such ongoing, unbridled kindness.  These were the acts of a pure heart and a generous, selfless spirit.

I recently learned that she went through some difficult times.  I only wish I had kept in touch after graduation.  There is some solace in knowing that she is in a better place, but this world has lost one of the few people who was as beautiful and pure inside as she was vivacious -- her smile lit up a room.  I will treasure her memory.

“To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world…”>.......................FROM A BOOK SHE  LOVED  > "THE  LITTLE  PRINCE"

I don't think I ever had a class with Jinna, but I was her tutor.  She was so genuine, and always made me laugh.  I'm sure I received much more from those sessions than I was able to give to her.  Such a fun, pretty girl, I'm sorry she experienced so many health issues, but I'm glad she's found peace.

I can't remember if there was a "Most Sunny" category for the yearbook, but if there was Jinna certainly deserved to win. She managed to have an hilarious sense of humor that was a bit wicked without being unkind.

I wore braces for four years and had regular, and frequent, orthodontist appointments which I learned to prioritize my homework assignments around. As I was looking forward to leaving school early one afternoon (and gleefully counting on avoiding a major test), front office assistant Jinna popped in with a note for me. I'm afraid I can't do it justice here but it was something along the lines of, "Sorry Sweetie, the gigs up. Your ortho guy just cancelled your appointment, so you're stuck in math this afternoon!" It was so funny it distracted me a bit from totally bombing the test, and I kept the note in my yearbook until both were ruined when our family room flooded twenty years later.

I am so very, very sorry to learn of her passing...
