William “Bill” Koons ‘67, sadly, needs adding to the site’s In Memory page. My dearly loved brother, Bill Koons, died in Ormond Beach, Florida, on December 1, 2021, from metastatic kidney cancer.
Bill was a good friend of mine in high school. My fondest memory of Bill was all the baseball practices we had that were made much more fun with Bill in the outfield and his funny antics and love of life. He was one of a kind and so much fun to be around!!!!!
I remember Bill as being a great friend to a lot of people. I did like him until he stole my girlfriend but I eventually got her back so we became friends again, I always respected him .. We played on the football team together for many years and he always dedicated to the team and gave all he had. I saw last at a class reunion a few years back. He looked in great shape so I was very surprised to hear about him gettig sick. My prayers are with all those close to him and his family.
