Bacil Christopher Warren of Tucson, AZ passed away on July 6, 2014. Chris was born in Tucson, AZ on July 24, 1948. He attended Catalina High School here in Tucson, AZ and later graduated from Fort Hunt High School in Alexandria, VA in 1966. Chris received his BA at the University of Arizona in Music Composition and later received his MA in Education Curriculum from Tennessee Technological University.

Chris enlisted in the US Army in 1969 and retired from the Army February 28, 1990 as CW4 he was awarded Legion of Merit, Meritorious service medal x2; he served as bandmaster for 24th infantry division band at Ft. Stewart, GA, the 8th US Army Band at Seoul, South Korea, and the 36th US Army band at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. He later went on to teach music at Sunnyside High school, Faith Lutheran, and Wade Carpenter Middle School.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bacil A. and Adell (Mudi) Warren; his parents, Bacil Benjamin and Annelle Griffin Warren; his aunt, Mary Conn and cousin, Paul Conn, all of Tucson and his aunt, Dr. Aileen Griffin of Dallas, Texas. He is survived by wife, Gail; sons, Bacil Donovan and Edward Griffin Warren and is also survived by his sister, Dr. Jannelle Warren-Findley and nephew, Benjamin Findley, of Tempe. A Memorial Service was held Monday the 14th at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712.
