DECEASED ALUM:  BRUCE RAYMOND JENSON, FHHS '66

We were informed by a close friend of Bruce Jenson of Bruce's passing on September 24th of 2021.  Bruce had been in St. Lucia, Florida where he died in hospice of Stage 4 cancer. 

Bruce had previously lived in California and was a "car guy" his whole life.  He was a drag racer as a younger man, going all the way back to his FHHS days when he owned a 427 Chevrolet Corvette, which he drove to school.  He raced on tracks so much that he was known as "Bracket Bruce" for the racing brackets that each car would have to go through.  At his peak, he was able to complete a 1/4 mile race in his Corvette in under 10 seconds, which to the uninitiated...is fast!  Rest in Peace, Bruce and may you drive many more miles in the hereafter.
