Gary Chovanec lost his battle with cancer in September, 1977.  He was 29 years old.
Gary is survived by his high school sweetheart, and wife, Nancy Long Chovanec.

"Gary died at a hospital in Reno that he had been in and out of for apprx 2 yrs....was in remission...then had major set back and lost his battle....sadly, and just 5 wks before our son David was born... I still miss him...am remarried happily 'tho.. " ~Nancy C Burns
