Very sorry to hear about Greg's passing.  He was a big friendly bear of a guy and I can still hear his voice down the hallways at FHHS...."Hey Petey!!".  He will be missed.  -Dave Peterson '75

I remember Greg at Fort Hunt as a simply nice guy;  not surprising he was a giver in life.  My sympathies to his family.

Greg was one of those people who was larger than life.  He was great fun...always laughing and smiling.  I was so sorry to hear of his passing.

My sincere condolences to his wife and family. I was in a school play with him called "Brigadoon" and another play where he was the main character, a detective....he was a great guy, talented and funny and had such a warm heart and friendly to everyone. He also had a great voice and I remember him singing all the time. May God Bless him and keep him! Peace be with his family.

Yes, Greg was a great friendly guy, who moved easily across the groups and "cliques" at the school.  An athlete as well as a gentleman, and I can see why he went into social services.  I am sorry to see him leave us so early.

I'm late hearing about Greg's too-early passing.  As others have said in different ways, to me he was just "an unforgettable character."  And that is from somebody who hasn't lived in VA since 1981 and has a terrible memory!  As Kathy said above, I was also in "Brigadoon" and have fond memories of him from that, as well as "the halls of FHHS".  RIP Greg and I'm saying prayers for your friends and family...I'm sure they will always miss you...
