Survived By: Channing is survived by his wife Krissy, parents Channing and Ann Jones, brother Keith Jones (Class of '77) and Laurie Jones Southard (Class of '78)

After graduating from Georgia Tech in 1979, Channing proudly served as a United States Naval Officer for seven years before returning to Georgia Tech to get his master's degree in management. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
