Ben Harper - I agree. I was at FHHS for Jr & Sr year and she was my girfriend most of that time (and we were in all those activities you listed together), but after we broke up in college (separate ones), we didn't really keep in touch.  It is sad. I had hoped to see her and others at the Reunion this year...Neither she or John Thurman wanted to join this site, for whatever reason...

Larry what great memories.. so talented and sad to hear this for sure!  We (Paul Best, Sue Baker and Susie Peters with help from Nena Lee and others) are planning our 45th reunion for this summer. Nobody's getting any younger!! So be looking for info on the 1975 Facebok page. Cheers and looking forward to seeing you this summer!

We should all consider our annual reunions as an opportunity, not a hassle.  I know it can be a big commitment of time and money - especially for those that are out of town - but think of the alternative:  Possibly not seeing someone again that you would have loved to have seen "one more time".  I've been tracking the passings of our classmates for years now....they can be very random and all are final.  Don't pass up your chance.  Join us.

So sorry to hear about Susanne's passing, you guys.  I never knew her, but it seems like she was a great gal.

David and Johanne, I’m sorry for your loss; and I am dumbfounded at the news of Sue’s passing.

Sue was also my girlfriend and I have fond memories of our 5am drives to Ft. Belvoir and Mr. Fontanella trying to stay out of sight as he chaperoned our family room make out sessions to the lyrical nonsense of Bread.  LOL.  I can still smell her strawberry shampoo.  There was a time I remember reading in the Post about the top restaurants in DC.  I wanted to take my girl to the best restaurant in town so I made a reservation for lunch at the Sans Souci.  I wore my best argyle sweater vest, button down shirt and tie and dress pants and shoes.  Sue wore a lovely blue dress.  In the vestibule, the fellow in front of me turned around and said, “They make the best cheeseburgers in town.”  Too bad the article didn’t mention jackets were required for men and 11th graders.  Luckily, they kept a reserve of (obviously used) jackets for teens who were in over their heads.  We giggled all the way through the over the top date and Sue couldn’t stop playing with the cold beef jello soup (consommé madrilène) until they took it away, which was only half as much fun as watching them straigthen the silverware every time we moved a fork or spoon.

Good times.

Larry – your daughter is beautiful, her voice sublime.  John – how ya doing, buddy?  I'm thinking of all of you tonight and sending my love.

Timothy Martin Briggs (1974)  Good to hear from you Tim, even under these circumstances & thanks for the comments about my daughters voice Maggie and band Foxes and Fossils. (Here's a ssmple for those who may not know what he's talking about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xA0Vl0gre6U )  Wow - I just thought of a bunch of music Sue and I, and our whole "bunch of friends" used to enjoy...
