From the Buss family —

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Mark passed away quite suddenly on Friday afternoon surrounded by family. To his lifelong friends around the globe, he was a loyal, kind, fun, and larger-than-life pal. To us, he was simply put: the best dad in the whole wide world. His passion for life was enormous and his kindness knew no bounds. He embodied grit, determination, and resilience outwardly, but he was just a big softie who loved his family and his people deeply. He will leave a lasting legacy to always look for the good in everything, choose to be silly whenever given the chance, and give the best unsolicited, sage advice at the most opportune times.

In the end, he was at peace, smiling as much as humanly possible, with some of his last words being “I feel at ease.”

At this time, there is no planned memorial service, but dad wants a party this summer.
