I remember Diane fondly. She was always so sweet, warm and full of life and love. On a trip home years ago, I remember my mother and I talking about her (she had just gotten a transplant and was doing very well). We were so happy for her. I wish I had tracked Diane down at that point to reconnect. I hope she always knew how many people loved her and were rooting for her as she fought that dreadful disease like the true champion she was. Rest in peace, old friend. You are missed, and I love you.
