I am saddened and shocked to hear of Tommy's sudden passing.  We go back to Hollin Hall Elementary School and even shared a locker at Fort Hunt during Sophomore year.  We ran into each other just a few months ago  at Aldersgate UMC when he was in town visiting on two separate occasions -- he even introduced me to his beautiful daughter who was in town with him that day.  I will definitely miss seeing him around.  My thoughts and prayers to his family.

For Heaven's sake.  My son goes to Hampden-Sydney.  If  I was not coming to Alexandria for the reunion I could have gone to the funeral and I am sorry to miss him.  I really enjoyed our last reunion seeing him.

I think this is from 2014. I still can't believe Tommy is gone. sad I first met Tommy in Hollin Hall Elementary School in my first-grade class. He was always goofing around, and he made the days more fun with his antics. What a sweet man he was. RIP Tommy, you are missed!

The Wells I remember decades ago back in high school was an arrogant SOB that used his physical presence to try to intimidate, sometimes for no real reason other than he wanted too.  But, that was in the "jock vs. so called freak" divide that existed at Fort Hunt back in the day.  Fortunately, we all grew up.
