I have many fond memories of Kim at FHHS.  She was always smiling, always ready to laugh.  I always thought she was one of the nicest people in our class.

I have oftentimes wondered where Kim was. I had recently been given this book by my daughter who had some things sent to her kids by my sister. It was given to me by Kim for my graduation. It was dated June 13, 1975. It brough back some fond memories of our friendship. She wrote such a poignant note to me in the book tilted "The Poetry of Friendship."

I started to look for her again and acutally had gone to Scott and Sharon's Facebook to see if her name showed up under friends. When it did not I Googled her name and this came up. I am so sad that we never were able to reconnect. After my sophmore year in college we had a falling out. She never spoke to me again or I her. How sad that our friendship that blossomed through my senior year ended the way it did. She had a marvelous laugh and smile and made my last year of highschool so much fun. I will forever be thankful I have this book in which she wrote such a beautiful tribute to our then friendship.

Patty - Such a nice remembrance of Kim.  Keep those pleasant memories in mind and worry less about the falling-out you mentioned.  Friendships sometimes end up that way, but it doesn't cancel out the good times you two had together.  I'm sorry you had to find out about her passing without speaking to her again, as you would have liked.  It shows the importance of keeping in touch - because you never know.

Thank you again for your comments and we appreciate you sharing your very personal thoughts about Kim.  Take care.
