Came to Williams College to be head rowing coach. Also taught in local high school. Bad experience, I'd been spoiled by my four years at FHHS. Got a masters degree in Educational Psychology. went back to the classroom teaching American
History. Worked part-time teaching wilderness first aid at Solo, a school for wilderness medicine founded by Frank Hubbell, FHHS class of 1970. Taught at three other school. Got deeply in photography,. I've had many local show, published several posters of local landscapes, and developed a line of photo note cars. Presently workr at Canyon Ranch as a hiking guideguide

School Story:

No amusing stories come to mind, which does not mean there were not any. I would like to communicate to all the wonderful students I had at Fort Hunt what a great experience I had teaching there. Fort Hunt was my first teaching job, so I had no idea how good the school and how exceptional the students. I taught at five other schools in my career, and none of those school ever came close to my experience at Fort Hunt. It was my experience at Fort Hunt that confirmed that I wanted to make teaching my life's work.
