Ron has told me through classmates that he is not dead. I have since heard he is working in a big box store in Richmond. I would really like to know the truth. He was reported killed in the late 70's. He lived life on the wild side so no one disputed his early demise.

Does anyone know the truth or perhaps know his wife Ann Edwards class of 1970.

Rick, according to PeopleFinders he is living in Glen Allen Virginia just outside Richmond, but they don't list Ann as  relations.

I knew Ron Travers when he was dating Ann Edwards.  She and I were good friends... During the night of the moonwalk in 1969 I was visiting her, Ron was also there.  I have many memories of double dating, with Ron and Ann being the other couple.  It was a fun/crazy time I'll never forget.  I hope they are both alive and well.  I didn't know they married.  If anyone contacts either of them, please tell them I wish them the best!   Lisa Fitch

Hello, yes I did live on Culver Place!  8514 Culver Place, Alexandria.  Your last name sounds familiar... you must have been a neighbor (?)

I lived on Culver place didn't remember the street till it was posted lived on the left side just down from you Lisa we had a white fence all over the back yard and my mom had a cement negro boy statue holding a lantern out front dressed in red and blue.  I saw Ricky Gray at the last reunion I attended the formal dinner and dance at Chrystal ?? City. I got really crazy in the 60's got straight in the early 70's.

To Leslie Marie Farrell, I remember that name as a neighbor... I'm thinking Chris or Bill Farrell...  My address on Culver (8514 Culver Place, Alexandria VA) is on googlemaps.  It looks exactly the same except... more trees and instead of a carport, there is now a garage.  The color is the same... looks very similar.

To Gail O'Keefe... your name is really familiar, I totally enjoyed your post!  Incidentally, I was crazier in the 1970's than the 1960's.  I lived in Ocean City MD for a few years which was a fabulous party town for young single people.  I still visit there every year or two... I've lived in Florida since 1980.  I'm glad to hear you are doing well, and it's a good thing we made it through!

Ron and I were really good friends during our junior and senior years. I moved from Texas to Fairfax County after my sophomore year. I lived at the bottom of the hill on Robertson Boulevard, and he lived at the top of the hill (Maybrook, I think) was the cross street). We played a lot of basketball in his side driveway trying to avoid the ball rolling down the hill. We spent time listening to music and sharing some reading interests. His father was an admiral, and my dad was in the Air Force working at the Pentagon. I was an assistant coach on his brother John’s (Johnny at the time) baseball and basketball team. I think the baseball team was Robinson Terminal. Johnny went to Mount Vernon after the new high school there was opened.
