He was definitely talented. One of my good 1969 memories is of listening to Ronnie & Elwood singing "Get Together" by the Youngbloods.Condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. He was several classes ahead of me but I remember his singing (Ronnie & Elwood) and his gentle, kind, smiling presence. Praying for his family at this time of loss.

I am sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing.  I too remember his talent but more so remember that he was a kind person. I was band geek, and rather nerdy, yet Ronnie was always kind and thoughtful to me and my friends.  Though he was indeed very popular, he did not look down on us.  I have never forgotten his kindness and acceptance.  My condolences to his family and friends.

I was new to Fort Hunt when Ronnie & Ellwood gave concerts at the school - sometimes formal and more often informal, and I remember thinking that the Fort Hunt High School experience was really going to be enjoyable.

There was a lot of talent in those hallways, and the school administration let those students with talent show it. Here's to Ronnie and all the talented FHHS alumni who helped to make high school such a great experience. Our condolences to Ronnie's family, but with the knowledge that he will be remembered by the alumni for a long, long time.

I, also, have wonderful memories of "Ronnie and Elwood" singing!  They were amazing, and they enriched the lives of the entire Ft. Hunt area.  They were so professional at such a young age.  My brother, Garth Wiemer, was a good friend of Ronnie's, and he always talked about what a great guy he was, even apart from the music.  He was in choir with Ronnie and Elwood, at some point, and he just loved those guys.  We sure have had many fine people go through Ft. Hunt's hallways.  We were all so fortunate to have shared this.
