Martha and I were friends since Walt Whitman. I remember being with her in the library and she was all excited to show me a 45 she had for the Beatles!! We went into a little room and she played it for me-the first time I heard the Beatles. We kept in touch for years, but I lost track of her and was saddened to hear of her death. I found this obituary on Legacy.com. Martha was such a good friend and a wonderful, funny person.
