Bill was a wonderful, talented, and dear friend who tragically died of AIDS, I believe in 1994. He was a graduate of Yale University and worked in a number of different jobs, but the most important thing about him in my memory is his kind and loving heart.

Karin Lindgren (1971)
Bill possessed one of the best minds I have ever encountered. It seemd to me that he excelled at all things he ever attempted. He was a gifted writer. He had a wacky, endearing sense of humor. What I remember most about Bill is that he placed first in the nation for French III in the AATF National French Contest in 1970. His prize was a full scholarship to Alliance Française in Paris that summer. Bill was a treasure. I am deeply saddened to find out that he left us so prematurely. RIP, dear Bill.
