Robbie and I were friends since 4th grade. We grew up together and were roommates in college at VA Tech. He was also the best man at my wedding. He never got married, and lived alone on a small farm in Afton, just outside Charlottesville, VA. He was an avid musician and talented guitar player. I had lost touch with him for several years, but we reconnected through the FHHS website last year. He and I had recently started playing golf together, and enjoyed his visits with my family at our home in Manassas, for numerous weekend cookouts, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. He was a kind soul, and I will miss him very much.
