Departed this life on November 16, 2013 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital and leaves to cherish her memory three sisters, Gail Lange, Sherry Boswell, Karla Dobson; two brothers, Marcus and Larry Ferguson; other relatives and many friends. She may be viewed on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 7836 Fordson Road, Alexandria, VA, Rev. Dr. Darrell White. Interment Snowden Cemetery. Services by Chinn/Baker.

"Jeri lived in the Hybla Valley area of South Fairfax County all of her life. She attended Clark College in Atlanta, GA graduating in 1980 with a BA in Mass Communications. She was also certified in Computer Information Systems. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and was a Professional Member of Society of Human Resource Management. Jeri spent the last 20 years of her professional career as a Benefits Specialist. She loved traveling, cooking, singing, and spending time with family and close friends. She was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Though Jeri never married or had children she was blessed with 20 nieces and nephews who considered her as the Best or Favorite Aunt.
